HAWS and GAB have partnered to help the community understand the relationship between upstanding for animals and upstanding for people.

Studies have shown a direct tie between the treatment of animals and the treatment of others, making this partnership relevant and significant.

Both organizations represent and stand up for animals, children, and victims of bullies, all who may lack a voice. HAWS and GAB will work together to help spread awareness for animal cruelty, bullying, and their relationship, using various methods.

Some of these methods include children’s books, fundraisers, special events, school assemblies, appearances at workplaces and other events in need of guest speakers, the GAB Peer Ambassador Program, as well as HAWS’ The Critter Club, Tuesday Troops, Kids ‘N Critter Camp, 1st Time Offender, and The HAWS Ace programs.

This partnership is one of education, community-building, prevention of cruelty to animals and children, and social welfare.

We will aid with teaching the youth compassion, kindness, respect, empathy, care and love for a living being at an early age and in the home environment, which will help prepare them for interacting and growing in a school environment and society.

This partnership works jointly to help those struggling to show respect and care for another living being, by offering education and mentorship with GAB and interactive and hands-on programs with HAWS.
